Park  

Park Access
What do I need to get into the park?
  • You must have your gate card and be prepared to show I.D. ​
  • Park is for resident and guest use only. All guest must be with a resident to use the park.

I'm new to the neighborhood, how do I get gate card for the park?
  • You should receive your gate card from the previous owners of your home. If you didn't, email us at driftwoodpointhoa@gmail.com.
How do I replace my lost key card?
  • Check out the details on how to replace your card here. 

Rentals
How do I rent a park cabana?
  • Step 1: Complete the rental agreement form online.
  • Step 2: Complete your rental payment.
  • Note: Park cabanas are for rental by residents only.

Boat Launch
Who is allowed to launch their boat at the park?
  • Residents and their guests can launch at the park; however, trailer parking is for residents only. Guests must return their trailer to the residents address while using the lake. 
  • The boat launch is for residential use only. No commercial use of the launch is permitted.

Board
What projects are the board working on?
  • Board project vary by time of year and community need. Projects are reflected in the monthly meeting minutes. 
How do I become a board member?
  • Board positions are elected every spring. If you are interested in serving on the board please contact a board member or email driftwoodpointhoa@gmail.com

How can I volunteer?
  • Driftwood Point is a better place because of the time volunteers put into making our community great. From the Easter egg hunt, to roadway garbage clean-up to the community garden, it takes a village to make Driftwood Point a special place to live.

Association

Community Meetings
When are the board meetings?
  • Board meetings take place once a month in the evening at 7:00 PM.
  • Residents will be notified via email, social media and/or the reader board. 
How can I attend the meetings?
  • Meeting locations may vary (including Zoom). Please pay close attention to  monthly meeting information communicated by the board. 
  • Meeting minutes are accessible via the link on the members page.

​Dues
When are my HOA dues due?
  • Payment Deadline: May 31st.
  • Nonpayment: Late fees are applied and gate cards are shut off on June 1st.

How do I pay my dues?
  • You can pay your dues by mailing them to ​Driftwood Point Association c/o Association Bookkeeping, PO Box 848, Anacortes, WA 98221-0848 or via online payment.​

Can I put my real estate sign up?
  • Real estate signs cannot be posted at the DWP entrance. Signs must be placed at your property.

​What do I do about an unruly dog?
  • If you're unable to communicate with the owner, dog complaints should be directed to Metro Animal Services at (253) 299-7387. ​
